EliZyme HIFI is characterized by its 3’-5’ exonuclease (proofreading) activity in PCR. Significantly improved performance is attributed to several point-mutations which improve the performance compared with its native form. The error rate of EliZyme HIFI is 100x lower than Taq DNA polymerase.

Improved processivity, higher yield and shortening cycling times are ensured by enhanced DNA binding.  PCR inhibition from impure samples such as colony PCR and direct PCR is minimised by enhanced efficiency of EliZyme HIFI polymerase.

EliZyme HIFI is characterized by enhanced PCR speed, yield and specificity. The combination of enzyme and buffer system makes exceptional PCR performance on complex templates such as mammalian genomic DNA.
