EliZyme™ HIFI

EliZyme™ HIFI polymerase is a high-fidelity enzyme derived from Pfu DNA polymerase, with several proprietary mutations that improve its performance compared to the native enzyme. When combined with advanced buffer chemistry, EliZyme™ HIFI delivers robust and reliable PCR results.

This enzyme has several features that make it an excellent choice for a wide range of PCR applications. It has 50 times higher fidelity than Taq DNA polymerase and can achieve high PCR success rates with amplicons up to 10 kb. It can efficiently and specifically amplify complex templates, including GC-rich and AT-rich sequences, and is stable at room temperature for up to four weeks.

EliZyme™ HIFI polymerase can be used for high-fidelity PCR, fast PCR, blunt-end cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, long-range PCR, next-generation re-sequencing, and "difficult" PCR with GC/AT rich DNA or crude samples such as colony PCR. Enhanced DNA binding improves processivity, increasing yield and shortening cycling times. The enzyme's increased efficiency minimizes PCR inhibition from impure samples.
